First United Methodist Church of Chicago is the global host for CIOA. First Methodist is the oldest house of worship in the city of Chicago (1831) and has a long history of progressive social activism. Anchored in the historic Chicago Temple building since 1924, the church continues to be a model of diversity and inclusion as it continues to live out its mission into the twenty-first century.
